Day to day responsibilities include:

  • Act as the day-to-day contact for clients and support all activities required to provide strategic advice in media relations and broader communications
  • Build and develop relationships with the media as well as with analysts and fund managers employed by our clients
  • Research, write and edit news releases, factsheets, speeches, PowerPoint presentations and other relevant communications materials
  • Participate in new business development pitches, with a focus on research, intelligence gathering, and drafting PowerPoint presentations
  • Manage and coordinate clients’ events
  • Guide the more junior colleagues and provide quality control of their client work

The ideal candidate has:

  • More than three years relevant working experience
  • A demonstrable passion for good communication
  • Knowledge of financial markets and financial services or a willingness to learn
  • Excellent spoken and written language skills in both Japanese and English
  • Excellent interpersonal skills and a cheerful disposition for both client-facing work and for internal collaboration
  • Ability to work under pressure and perform multiple tasks simultaneously with a sense of
    urgency and attention to detail
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office software (Word, Excel, PowerPoint)
  • Acceptance of the use AI-related tools to enhance productivity
  • Common sense, good judgment, resourcefulness, and openness to learning new things
  • Bachelor or Master’s degree, preferably in a relevant discipline including economics,
    finance, or communications

  • Participate in new business development pitches, with a focus on research, intelligence gathering, and drafting PowerPoint presentations

  • Assist client account teams in the execution of communication strategies and deliverables.
  • Provide daily support to the team, including translation of press release and other collaterals.
  • Conduct media monitoring and prepare media analysis reports
  • Support the organisation and execution of events and other related tasks.
  • Build and maintain relationships with media contacts to enhance media relations.

The ideal candidate has:

  • A strong passion for finance and effective communication
  • Common sense and good judgment
  • Good working habits with a positive attitude
  • Excellent spoken and written language skills in both Chinese and English
  • Bachelor’s degree, preferably in a relevant discipline including journalism, finance, translation, marketing or communications


Enthusiastic fresh graduates with keen interest in Finance and Corporate Communications will also be considered.
